Visa travel requirements and how our verified itineraries work.
It is a genuine flight reservation created in the airline GDS (Global Distribution System) with a real 6-character airline PNR and confirmed status, issued without paying the full ticket price. Embassies accept it as proof of onward or return travel for visa applications.
You receive an official GDS electronic itinerary in the CheckMyTrip format: your booking reference (PNR), passenger names as on your passport, airline, flight numbers, dates, times, terminals and confirmed status. Visa centres such as VFS Global, BLS and TLScontact see this format every day.
No. A real agent verifies your details and creates an authentic booking directly in the airline GDS. Your verified PDF itinerary is emailed to you in an average of 5–10 minutes.
Go to checkmytrip.com (or the CheckMyTrip app) or the airline's 'Manage booking' page, enter your 6-character booking reference and your last name. Your flights will appear with confirmed status while the reservation is valid.
Some airlines, as a policy, do not let you view or manage a reservation on their website until a paid ticket is issued. In that case you can still view your booking on the CheckMyTrip app or checkmytrip.com. Checking it is not actually required for your visa: embassies want to see your travel intent, and the real reservation we create shows exactly that.
Yes. Schengen consulates require proof of travel plans, and most explicitly advise applicants not to buy a paid ticket before the visa is granted. A verifiable reservation meets this requirement.
The US Department of State does not require a purchased ticket. Many applicants still bring a reservation to the interview to show clear travel intent; a verified itinerary is ideal for this.
UKVI recommends not buying tickets until a decision is made. Including a verifiable reservation in your travel plan supports your application and demonstrates your intention to leave the UK.
Many countries and airlines (e.g. Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, New Zealand) require proof you will leave the country. A verified itinerary with a valid PNR satisfies this check at check-in and immigration.
48 hours is included. You can extend to 7 or 14 days at checkout, which is useful when your embassy appointment is a few days away.
